This song is a bit random but I quite like it. It tells the story of unrequited love. I work with teenagers during the day and I think many of them can relate to this. You meet someone, you're really attracted to them, you finally get up the courage to say something to them and as you go to reach out to them they walk off. Every 15 year old boys story at some stage.
lyrics
A LITTLE BIT
It’s a little bit funny how I sleep at night
And call out your name
It’s a little bit worrying when I can’t sleep at all
And you’re to blame
But my mind’s playing ticks on me filling my head
with pictures of you and the things that you said to me
The laugh in your eyes and the smile in your words
Could you be mine
It seems so absurd to me now
I’m a little bit sorry that I haven’t told you
How I feel
It’s a little bit crazy that you’re talking to me
Are you for real
I go to touch your skin, hesitate just a bit
I run from how I feel, why can’t I go with it
Breathing I can’t control, I can feel every beat
All of me paralysed from my head to my feet now
Is it so much to want you to reciprocate
All of the feelings I have for you, I can’t wait
Just as I go to say, you leave me standing here
Turn your head, walk away.
I want to disappear now
It’s a little bit painful as I walk away
I’m crying inside
It’s a little bit hurtful and I’m feeling empty
I wanna hide
